Eight Ways to Treat Plantar Fasciitis at Home and at the Office in Wichita
If your feet hurt, read this!
Plantar fasciitis in Wichita is an inflammation of the connective tissue on the bottom of your feet. The connective tissue, fascia, runs from your heel to the forefoot. When this tissue gets excessively stretched, it can start to cause heel pain, arch pain and eventually heel spurs. Plantar fasciitis will commonly be most painful when you take your first step out of bed in the morning.
The most common cause of plantar fasciitis is over-pronation (flat feet). Your feet can start to become flat as your arches collapse from things like wearing improper shoes (i.e. flip-flops) or becoming overweight. If you have flat feet, this means that the connective tissue on the bottom of your foot will start to be stretched away from the heel bone.
